Frustrated by the lack of quality outdoor furniture that could withstand Midwest weather while maintaining style, he recognized a gap in the market for premium pieces that combined durability with timeless design.
Building from the Heartland
Kansas City proved the perfect manufacturing location, offering skilled craftspeople and efficient distribution. Despite early challenges with sourcing materials and building brand recognition, Mahomes' breakthrough came when a local resort ordered custom pieces, leading to word-of-mouth referrals and establishing the company's reputation for exceptional quality.
